President’s Message

The 2024/2025 season is officially underway, and all leagues are in full swing! It’s with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to both our new and returning members. As you immerse yourself in the activities of our club, I’m confident you’ll enjoy the unique blend of competition and camaraderie that makes our community so special.
I’d like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to Darren and Wolf for their hard work in ensuring a seamless start to the season. A special thank you also goes to our dedicated board members—Audrey, Brenda, Michelle, Maria, Kim, and Rebecca—for their continued commitment to the club’s success. Additionally, I’d like to recognize the many volunteers whose efforts are vital to the smooth operation of our programs.
We’re gearing up for an exciting season of bonspiels, including Mixed, Doubles, Ladies, Men’s, and Seniors events. Be sure to visit our website for all event dates.
Our leagues are in strong shape, but there’s always room for more participation. While our Wednesday Doubles league has reached capacity with 16 teams, we do have room all other nights. For daytime leagues we have Monday Morning ladies at 9am as well as our Seniors league, which meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1 p.m., with flexible “Drop-in” options available.
Coach Ella is once again leading our Junior Program on Mondays at 4 p.m., and we’re continuing our high school/middle school league on Fridays at 4 p.m.
I encourage all members to get involved and consider volunteering for events and activities. Your contributions are essential in creating a thriving club environment and ensuring the continued success of OUR club. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our board members or our manager.
Once again, welcome to all, and here’s to a fantastic season ahead!
Warm regards,

Grant Hughes
